Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (further referred to as “Terms”) are applicable to all art and designs from the artist, Meepfinch (further referred to as “I” or “me”). By purchasing a commission or owning a character designed by me, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in a cancellation of your commission and/or an inability to purchase from me.

General Terms

Any transactions will be made in EUR using PayPal invoices. I will initiate the transaction to avoid accidental payments.
Do not use, reupload or heavily reference my art without my prior written permission.
Do not use my art in blockchain-related technologies or AI models.
I retain the copyright to commissions and original artworks of designs, and I am permitted to use them, free of charge, to promote my products or brand.
Filing a chargeback will result in an inability to purchase from me in the future.
I shall in no event be liable for any indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits or revenue or loss of interest. Indirect damage also includes any damages as a result of cancellation.
My collective liability under a commission or design, is limited to the amount of the commission/design's price.

Commissions

Digital commissions will be paid 100% upfront. Needle-felted commissions may be paid 50% upfront and 50% upon completion or 100% upfront on the client’s request.
I have the right to decline or cancel and refund any commission. Be aware that needle felted items may be prohibited in some countries.
Clients have the right to cancel a commission and receive a refund provided the commission has not been deemed completed by the artist. Partial refunds will be given after starting a commission. The refunded amount depends on the progress made.
I do not work with deadlines but will give my best estimate for completion upon accepting a commission. This estimate shall under no circumstances be binding for either party.
Commissioned artworks are shared on social media when completed. A commission can be kept private only if agreed beforehand in writing.
Commissioned artworks are for personal use only; the client is not allowed to profit from a commissioned artwork.
The client may only ask for major revisions during the sketching phase. Minor revisions are allowed after the sketching phase and for needle-felted commissions.
Once done, the commissioned artwork will be sent via email as a png or jpeg file. Needle-felted products will be sent via mail or courier, the client pays shipping costs.

Character Designs

I have the right to decline any offer or bid.
Purchases of premade character designs are final and non-refundable.
The client is allowed to use the design commercially, as long as the client does not use the original artwork provided with the design or claim that they have designed the character.
The client is responsible for the monetary worth of the design after purchase.
I, as the designer, shall not be involved in any conflicts that might arise from co-owning a character.
